All those who drafted Chris Johnson during the past few weeks can all breath easier now. He and the Titans have agreed to a contract extension which makes Johnson the highest paid RB in the NFL. It totals 53 million over the next 4 years of which 30 is guaranteed.
I bet it’s going to be a couple games before we see CJ up to full speed, I just hope he’s been doing his do diligence in staying game ready. We have seen way too many injuries from the shortened training camps, he could be in danger of an injury if he pushes to hard.
I got Chris Johnson with the 9th overall pick in a draft recently and made the comment “ugh” after I picked him. At 9, he’s a great deal, he probably won’t slide that low from here on, now that he’s with the team again.
I bet Matt Hasselbeck put his dancing shoes on. He hasn’t had a solid running game since the Seahawks glory days with Shaun Alexander!
