Randy Moss Done in Minnesota

1 11 2010

Hey Junkie followers. Just passing this along before it becomes huge this afternoon. The NFL Network is reporting that Randy Moss has been waived by the Vikings. Minnesota fans prepare to be disappointed again. With Percy Harvin limping after the game and Sydney Rice still out with his hip surgery, it’s going to be a long next few weeks.

As for Moss, he now has to go through waivers, meaning the worst teams have first shot at claiming him for this week. This has been one crazy season for Moss owners.

St. Louis Rams anyone? lol Actually San Diego Chargers more likely even though I’m sure the Pats want him back.

Yeah, I really hope a scrub team doesn’t claim him just to do it. It would be nice if he fell to a contender like the Bucs, Rams or Bears. Some team that he could really make a difference for. I can’t imagine him going back to the Pats. It would be nuts, plus they would have gotten an extra draft pick for essentially letting the Vikes “borrow” Moss.

Randy Moss is just way overrated. Not because of his talent, but overall his attitude stinks and he gives up on plays. Calvin Johnson gets as much double coverage as Randy does and Calvin always works his butt off to make plays and help a team he knows will not reach the playoffs..

I love Calvin Johnson. I think he also buys into what’s going on in Detroit. Moss did buy in with Belichik but it will be hard for him to respect any coach he goes to at this point. Maybe a Jeff Fisher could wrangle him in. They will be looking if Kenny Britt is out for time and I think that would be a great fit for them.

It’ll be interesting to watch. Pats are 31st on the waiver list. Nice picks last week FFJ, you must be beaming about Blount. I think he may be solid the rest of the way.

Thanks Hurricane, I am pleased with Blount, he did look great. But I am so pissed at the Panthers. They are just terrible. How does one of the top run offenses from last year put up dud after dud this year. It’s not like that much has changed for them. Oh well, time to work on week 9!

It’s hard to run the ball when the opposition knows you can’t pass.

Yeah, but they couldn’t pass last year very well either. But like last year, the running game really didn’t get moving until the second half for the Panthers. Maybe the same will happen this year. I have been targeting Williams as a buy low till he got hurt. Now he’s a buy really low!
