Junkie’s Sunday Ligntning in a Bottle Week 10

13 11 2010

Here it is! What you’ve all been waiting for. I’m here to deliver week 10’s lightning player. It is based on an injury to a current starter so if you are in a deep league and are looking to score big on hunch this guy could return big dividends.Ramses Barden. He is traditionally the 4th receiver for the Giants but it getting more time this week due to Steve Smith’s injury. And could be getting two or three weeks worth of time while Smith gets healthy. He had been a sleeper coming into the year because of his amazing pre-season games. But because the Giants have such good depth at WR, he slid to the background. Now, it could be his time to shine against a really bad Cowboys team. Let me also mention, Ramses is 6’6″ and 230lbs. Just saying.

would you trade Fred Jackson for Lee Evans? both are bench players kinda but what do you think about that trade. I’m already deep at Rb.

Hmmmm…. I had really high hopes for Jackson when Lynch got traded but if you need a WR, Lee might be ok the rest of the way without Roscoe Parrish in the mix anymore.

that’s what i was thinking. Jackson is the worst RB on my team and I have 6 RB’s. I figured since Steve Smith went down I could use an extra WR and Evans stock may be up because of Roscoe Parish..I proposed the trade and it got accepted. Thanks man 🙂

Let’s not forget this guy’s name is Ramses. Even if that doesn’t mean anything about his command on the field, it’s still badass.

Yes, his name is badass! Too bad it wasn’t enough to keep him going. He’s either on or likely to be on the Injured Reserve list after that game. Poor Ramses.
