This Just In… Arian Foster Injured.

6 08 2011

Here we go, to borrow the tagline of the many Bud Light commercials you will undoubtedly see during the upcoming NFL season. Within the first few days there have been a ton of injuries in training camps across the league. This was to be expected because of the lack of OTA’s during the offseason. But the first huge name came in today, Arian Foster injured his hamstring during practice. We’ll know for sure if it’s a big deal in the coming days but it’s a bad sign for the NFL if star players start dropping like flies. And if you hadn’t read my article (Out yesterday) regarding BUSTS, Arian was at the top of my RB’s.

Maybe not quite as big name wise, Michael Crabtree and Plaxico Burress have also suffered injuries with Crabtree’s being worse. Rumors are that Crabtree could miss significant time and maybe put on the PUP list to start the season. If this happens, he will have to miss the first 6 games without question.

Thanks for the injury update, Junkie. I was wondering how the lockout would affect players’ conditioning, and consequently their risk for injury.
