In tonights game vs. the Packers, Arizona rookie running back Ryan Williams was carted off the field from what looked to be a serious knee injury. Hope the diagnosis comes back positive and he will be able to play in 2011. If not, he will be the second high profile back to suffer season ending injury after Mikel Leshoure went down for the Lions.
If Williams’ injury comes back bad, it would mean Beannie Wells gets a big upgrade on all draft boards. More to come as the informations rolls in.
UPDATE: It is believed, Williams has a ruptured patella tendon and will be lost for the entire season. Sad news for another 2nd round running back.
